Maybe it's just me, but it's like something you'd find on simple.wikipedia, except not as clear.

Isn't this a "lol I found a dumb post on another forum" post?

And since when is 1d4chan useful for anything? /tg/ is mildly amusing but 1d4chan is a dumping ground for slo-mo flamewars and demented snuff fic.

I thought it was some sort of Wiki thing, definitely a strange forum, if that's what it is. Sorry if I made a faux pas.

There's some history there, so you deserve an explanation.

Once upon a time, there was a thread on the Gaming Den where people posted links to posts they found funny on other gaming forums. This was all good and fun; many "lulz" were had. But then, and evil fairy came along and decided it would be fun to post stupid shit on other forums and then link there in anticipation of humorous outrage. Thus, it became a thread of trolling. To make a long story short, people god pissed, there was some drama, and the mods deleted (or locked?) the thread. And that was that--we all lived angrily ever after.

It's quite sad, really. Those TTMULCOB threads used to be quite fun reading, sparking some rather interesting commentary or allowing people to call for some backup.

*sigh* C'est la vie.
Current pet peeves:
Misuse of "per se". It means "[in] itself", not "precisely". Learn English.
Malformed singular possessives. It's almost always supposed to be 's.

Yah, I joined shortly after that fiasco; I just didn't think of the wiki page as a 'forum'.

We can, however, talk about or quote things to stir solutions here, but not there, because we don't want to troll or entertain, we want to grow and build.

We are not evangelical.
